Located in Saint-Austremoine in the commune of Salles-la-Source, in the Marcillac valley, it is ideally situated to produce quality wines. Domaine Croizat, the evolution of a family estate in Marcillac

It all began in 1988, when Philippe took over the estate from his parents. On his arrival, he enlarged the vineyard from 1 hectare to 3.5 hectares, and obtained the Marcillac AOC, an appellation renowned for its quality wines. The story doesn't end there: in 2021, he is joined by his nephew Olivier, who enables him to expand the vineyard to 6 hectares and develop the range. Proud of their achievements and passionate about their profession, Philippe and Olivier now offer a range of 3 red wines and 1 rosé, to be enjoyed in the cellar after a visit to Domaine Croizat.

Domaine Croizat, wines to be enjoyed without moderation in Marcillac

Domaine Croizat's star grape variety is Mansois, also known as Fer Servadou. Planted on hillside clay-limestone soils and sometimes on terraces, it produces wines with a lovely purple color for the reds, and deliciously fruity aromas for the rosé. The 400L oak barrels of the Orion cooperage installed in the vast vaulted cellar enable us to produce quality wines, matured using sustainable agriculture methods. Domaine Croizat, which has been awarded the Vignoble & Découverte label, is the perfect place to discover AOC Marcillac wines, alongside Philippe and Olivier, two passionate professionals. Since the beginning of the year, it has also been awarded the HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale) label.  Groups are also welcome, and can reserve a special moment around a buffet for up to 20 people, made with fresh, local, seasonal produce.
