Discover an exceptional estate where quality is the priority. Created in 2003, Domaine du Grès lives to the rhythm of the seasons at Fijaguet in the commune of Valady, 20 minutes from Rodez. On site, Jean-Marie is a winemaker with a passion for his terroir and his region, offering unique wines for tasting. Open a bottle and let yourself be charmed.

This is an intimate estate, covering just 1 hectare, allowing Jean-Marie to care for his vines all year round. The clay-sand-limestone soil, partly terraced, gives the grape varieties a beautiful expression of balance and harmony. Each year, 3 cuvées are produced as Vin de Pays d'Aveyron, with red and rosé wines. Since 2022, Domaine du Grès has been in the process of obtaining BIO certification, a label highlighting the quality of the wines produced.

Jean-Marie's particularity is to bring back into fashion little-known and sometimes forgotten grape varieties. For red and rosé wines, Fer Servadou and Pinot Noir are grown and pressed, revealing delicious fruity aromas. Since 2023, white wine production has been underway using the Felen and Saint-Côme grape varieties, recently reintroduced to the official catalog of grape varieties. Producing around 3,000 bottles a year, Domaine de Grès offers wines in limited quantities, to be discovered during a guided tour or tasting.
