    • Domaine de la Petite Tuile, the promise of a 100% terroir wine in the Tarn

A love of the land and the vines is omnipresent at Domaine de la Petite Tuile, a family business that Clémence is happy to bring to life every day in the heart of the first slopes of the Gaillac appellation. Discover the world of a passionate winemaker who advocates the creation of artisanal wine and the natural expression of her terroir.

Domaine de la Petite Tuile, the transmission of a family passion

This magnificent estate was born in 2016 when Clémence embarked on the wonderful adventure of wine with the desire and the will to work in harmony with nature. The 6 hectares of vines planted on the right bank of the Tarn benefit from clay-limestone soil and ideal climatic conditions to enhance the terroir's grape varieties. Out of sight, Mauzac, Braucol and Duras, these historic Gaillac grape varieties enhance the local identity, offering exceptional wines with aromas typical of the region, between finesse and complexity.

Domaine de la Petite Tuile, sublime vintages produced using organic farming methods

Upon her arrival in 2016, Clémence began converting the estate to Organic Agriculture ( obtained in 2019 ), a label that reflects her values and her commitment to respecting the environment. Throughout the year, the vines are carefully cared for through soil cultivation adapted to the seasons, gentle pruning to preserve the vitality of the vines, rigorous disbudding for perfect ripeness of the grapes, as well as mechanical weeding that bans chemicals. Since 2019, Domaine de la Petite Tuile has also been part of the “Terres de Gaillac” association, a commitment of passionate winegrowers who work in organic or biodynamic farming.

Domaine de la Petite Tuile, exceptional wines to taste all year round in the Tarn

The incredible work of the vineyard continues after the harvest, when the ripe grapes full of sugar and sunshine are ready to be vinified. The precious grapes are handled as little as possible to preserve their unique taste and their very particular character, developed thanks to the indigenous yeasts naturally present on the grapes. The white wines are made with a long and progressive pressing , while the red wines are macerated, almost infused to release the best tannins of each grape. The next step is aging in vats for the "fruit" wines, and aging in wood for a year for the wines for laying down. Come without delay to the Domaine de la Petite Tuile to taste these fruity nectars, Clémence welcomes you throughout the year in Gaillac to present her work as well as the delicious fruits of her labor.

Information: Domaine de la Petite Tuile is also available in many wine merchants and grocery stores nationwide, as well as in Switzerland and Belgium.
