The Lautrec Pink Garlic Defense Union: guardian of unique know-how

The Pink Garlic of Lautrec appeared in the Middle Ages in this charming Tarn village, and it has never left. In 1959, a group of young farmers founded the Syndicat de Défense de l'Ail Rose de Lautrec to promote this local production.

Since then, our mission has been to promote and enhance our garlic. We work every day to support our producers and promote our sector.

An exceptional product, recognized and protected

Lautrec Pink Garlic has been recognized by the Label Rouge since 1966, a guarantee of superior quality compared to common products. Since 1996, it has also benefited from the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), which guarantees its unwavering link with the terroir and local know-how. Grown exclusively in 87 communes around Lautrec , in the Tarn, it is carefully cared for, a large part of the handling is done by hand, thus preserving the local social and economic fabric.

Easily identifiable, it bears the Label Rouge and IGP logos on its packaging, as well as the Ail Rose de Lautrec logo. Each sales unit is numbered to ensure its authenticity and quality.

An unmissable event: the Garlic Festival
