The Two Seas Canal connects the Gironde Estuary to the Mediterranean. It crosses many regions and in particular the Tarn-et-Garonne. It roughly follows the natural course of the Garonne and offers a natural setting for walks along the water's edge. Nature lovers will take bucolic walks here.
A greenway runs along it. It is laid out with picnic points, fitness trails and playgrounds. It is an ideal place for families. It is also quite instructive, especially on the construction of the canal or the operation of the locks.
Athletes generally appreciate this very well maintained cycle path. To find out more, we tested for you the crossing of the Tarn-et-Garonne by bike, along the Canal des Deux Mers.
And if you are not ready for such a long journey, start by discovering the outskirts of Montech, along the Canal de Montech, through the Forêt d'Agré, which joins the Canal des Deux Mers.
