The wetland of Le Blanc benefits from a classification as a “Sensitive Natural Space”. It is located in the heart of Tarn-et-Garonne, in the town of Beaumont-de-Lomagne. It provides shelter for wildlife in a very agricultural environment. Garlic from Lomagne is also a flagship product of the region.
The Gimone and many streams crisscross the fields and form this wetland. Many birds take advantage of the place. You will make beautiful ornithological observations there. Do not forget your binoculars during your walks. Do not hesitate to contact the tourist office for additional information because the site is poorly indicated.
