Lake Gouyre Nature Reserves in Vaïssac

Lac du Gouyre is a beautiful body of water south of Montricoux, in the town of Vaissac, in the Tarn-et-Garonne. It is near the Aveyron river and the Tarn department. It is nestled in a rural environment, in the middle of fields and meadows. A path allows you to go around it, but the banks are not all accessible. The walk there is very pleasant, as it is partly along the water's edge and under forest cover.

The area is classified as a “Sensitive Natural Area”. It is a calm natural site and conducive to ornithological observations . Moreover, a hut has been fitted out so that you can admire the birds, without disturbing them. Don't forget your binoculars.
