Lake Tordre is an artificial water reservoir, formed by an earth embankment. It straddles the towns of Léojac and Génébrières. The lake is nestled in a countryside environment, west of Montauban. It is bordered by fields, meadows and woods. There are many activities to do in the surrounding area.
You can't go all the way around the lake. However, a hiking trail of about 15 kilometers allows you to enjoy the surrounding nature. The route takes you up a hill to appreciate the beauty of the lake below. It is also accessible by mountain bike. An equestrian center offers horseback riding in the forest surrounding the lake. It is also a famous fishing spot for its predators (zander, perch, pike).
