Don't miss this must-see visit which will teach you that Sidobre is the largest granite quarry in Europe , producing more than 50% of France's granite needs. Tarn granite, grey granite or Silver Star, this unique material is presented at the Maison du Sidobre, also called the Sidobre et des Hommes museum space, where granite work is explained from yesterday to today. Discover the work of extraction, take part in workshops and explore the small interpretation trail to understand the importance of granite present in the most prestigious architectures in the world, and in almost all the villages in France. Indeed, we walk on Sidobre granite on the sidewalks of the Champs-Elysées, in the Singapore metro or even at the World Trade Center in Shanghai.
