The Albigeoise Distillery is the latest addition to the Castan family, which produces exceptional whiskies at the Castan Distillery, just a few kilometres away. Open Monday to Saturday from 10:30am to 1pm and then from 2pm to 6pm, it immerses you in the world of spirits through complete and varied ranges, to delight all palates. As a gift or to treat yourself, the Albigeoise Distillery is the perfect choice!
Distillerie Albigeoise, a boutique specializing in 100% Tarn Single Malt Whisky
Amateurs, curious or epicureans, push open the door of this pretty store to discover an exceptional whisky: the Single Malt VILANOVA, Silver medal at the World Drinks Awards in 2024 and a Gold medal at the agricultural competition of French whiskies in 2024. Developed in the Tarn, it comes from a unique know-how passed down for 3 generations, a heritage sublimated by the Castan family in their farm distillery which can be visited 14 km from Albi. The barley harvested on site is then brewed, fermented, distilled and then aged, a traditional manufacturing process that offers exceptional products. Its gourmet, fruity and balanced malty notes diffuse unique aromas that delight fine palates.

Located in the heart of Albi city centre, the Distillerie Albigeoise is a true haven of indulgence and pleasure . Whisky of course takes pride of place on the beautiful wooden shelves, also leaving room for other equally delicious spirits. Find the gins and eaux-de-vie of the Castan family , but also wine , beers and aperitifs as well as local products to satisfy all palates and all budgets. On site, an attentive team will provide you with information on each of the products with passion to find the alcoholic or non-alcoholic nugget that you are looking for, and even offer you a few tastings to confirm your selection. Father's Day, Christmas, birthday, retirement or simply to please, the Distillerie Albigeoise offers gift boxes made up of taste treasures that will delight the lucky ones. Stay tuned, the store may soon offer tasting workshops!
