An amazing restaurant and a must for anyone visiting the Gorges du Tarn on the Aveyron side. We went in August and made a reservation because it’s summertime and usually restaurants are at capacity. so definitely call ahead. We arrive at 7 PM chose a top table on the terrace, which is covered, but they remove the awning when the sun goes down a bit. They have champagne by the glass, so I had a glass of champagne for apero and was pleasantly surprised that it came with an amuse buche. The view from the terrace is spectacular so I recommend sitting there and enjoying the sunset while eating. I started off with as cargo and wild mushrooms, the escargot didn’t have the shells so it was easy to eat with bread. I choose the lamb entrée while my husband had steak. And I had the Pavlova for dessert which was light and airy and crunchy and everything it was supposed to be, excellent! My husband chose the chocolate dessert which was equally delicious with moose and a crunchy thin outer chocolate layer. The coffee even came with a little strawberry mousse wrapped in dark chocolate, even though I was full, I couldn’t resist eating it! The service is amazing, the servers are also kind, and I will definitely be back, this is going to be my new go to restaurant when I have company because the food, the view, and the service is amazing!

I have given the rooms 5 stars because I didn't want to lower my average. However we only ate in the restaurant which was superb. Not cheap, at 90€ for two, but definitely worth it. Everything was delicious, service impeccable and friendly. Would highly recommend the restaurant and I imagine the hotel to be the same high standard.
