    • Resto des Halles, an address to enjoy in Castres

The Resto des Halles is a true institution where you can taste delicious French specialties. Located on Place Pierre Fabre, on the 1st floor of Les Halles, this authentic brasserie welcomes you all year round for a good time of sharing and indulgence. Reserve your table without delay, you will enjoy yourself.

Resto des Halles, a brasserie restaurant with local cuisine

Sitting at a table at the Resto des Halles means reliving years of history through recipes and specialties. Opened in 1999 by two friends, one of whom was a fine butcher, it is no surprise that the meat on the menu is of excellent quality. At lunch, order the formula you prefer or the daily special with a pitcher. For dinner, there are starters to share and salads in small or large formats that will satisfy your palates, as well as the barbaque as it is called on the menu. Between friends or family, there is something for all tastes and even the little ones with the idefix formula, while professionals can reserve their business meals in a private lounge.

Resto des Halles, quality products well crafted in Castres

As you will have noticed, the meat is of high quality and the pieces carefully selected from France or the European Union. Entrecôte, rib of beef, skirt or flank steak, you will enjoy perfectly mastered cooking. The duck breasts and lamb are also carefully prepared, served with parsleyed new potatoes and a sauce of your choice. The fries and purees are homemade, as are the à la carte desserts such as brioche perdu or profiteroles. Extend your meal with a coffee or a digestive, the setting is worth the detour and makes you want to linger under the vast vaulted ceiling.

Had a really lovely lunch. Superb salad, and the risotto and scallops was excellent. Staff were also very friendly. We will be returning!

Everything is either sticky or slippery, a lot of noise and the waiter wasn’t pleasant at all (Look for the guy with the fake Richard Mille watch). The food is alright.
