    • Le Lautrec, a charming restaurant with regional flavors in Albi

"Yesterday's cuisine in today's fashion where the generosity of the land meets the finesse of gastronomy", this is the culinary promise made by chef Sandrine Caramelli and her team. Throughout the year, they invite you to experience a timeless moment in the heart of the episcopal city of Albi, in the former stables of HT-L's birthplace. Elegant setting, refined cuisine and attentive service, enjoy a gourmet break at the restaurant Le Lautrec and above all, treat yourself!

Le Lautrec, a restaurant that promotes local produce in Albi city centre

The passion for cooking and good products is felt in each plate through traditional recipes that remain inventive, surprising your palate with fragrant and balanced flavors. The emphasis is on the terroir with fresh, local and seasonal products prepared on site according to the chef's inspirations. At lunch, the market menu is served from Tuesday to Friday, while in the evenings from Tuesday to Saturday and on Saturday lunchtime, the seasonal flavors menu is offered. Don't forget to consult the slate with the ideas of the day or the menu renamed “ la promenade gourmande” modified for the summer, fall-winter and spring seasons at the Lautrec restaurant. The “Cuisine de Toulouse-Lautrec” menu also delights your taste buds with Malromé wines and vegetables from La ferme de Ceyleran, while a “taste discovery” menu is offered to children under 12 years old. Are you curious? Let yourself be guided by the chefs' carte blanche consisting of 4 delicate dishes served with 4 glasses of perfectly paired wine.

Le Lautrec, a refined restaurant where you can feast in Albi

In the city center of Albi, rue Henri de Toulouse Lautrec, an establishment attracts the eye and the taste buds with its brick frontage and delicious cooking aromas. Push the door to discover a cozy and warm interior where the tableclothed tables surrounded by comfortable armchairs invite you to settle down. Further on, a courtyard planted with climbing plants is like a pretty preserved secret, pleasant for lunch. Relax in a soothing atmosphere before opening the menu to discover the homemade dishes , made from regional products. Lamb from Assac, organic Tarn saffron from Lavaur, pink garlic from Lautrec, beef from Primaube or Fénols, goat cheese from Carmaux and cow cheese from Virac, or even square peas from Cestayrols, the ingredients are carefully selected for their quality from passionate producers and artisans. The wine list perfectly complements the cuisine of Lautrec, with wine gems chosen by sommeliers and winegrowers who love their region.

The little extra: Chef Sandrine Caramelli is a “Disciple of Escoffier Occitanie pays Catalan”, “Artisan of Homemade Taste”, “Gourmet Cuisines” certified by Bureau Véritas and a Master Restaurateur.

We had a wonderful dinner here, at a phenomenally reasonable price. Each course was beautifully prepared, cooked and presented. The wine was excellent, and the ambience relaxed. Extremely high quality and good value.

Delicious food and superb service from our waitress who couldn't have been more kind and helpful (also spoke great English). We look forward to another visit when holidaying in the area again.
