    • WELCOME TO OUR HOME

One of the last bastides in the Tarn, this village has been labeled "towns and villages where life is good", and more recently "bourg center Occitanie".

As you stroll through the village, you'll see the Château de Viviers dating from the 16ᵉ century, the 12ᵉ century presbytery, the 12ᵉ century church of Saint Martin with its chapel, its recumbent statue and a number of period buildings such as the Sabartarié washhouse, the Pont Gué de Rousset...

As a stopover village on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela, there are a number of circuits to choose from:

      • Nature trails, with walks, hikes, the Véloccitanie...
      • Heritage circuit, with buildings listed by the ABF.

Combining authenticity and modernity, Viviers-lès-montagnes offers many possibilities.

You'll find everything you need for a pleasant stay, with local producers, local shops, a restaurant, gîtes and a breathtaking view of the Pyrenees... all the things that make up the village's motto: living well together!

In terms of festivities, depending on the season you're visiting us, there are plenty of events to look forward to... Saint-Roch's Day in August, St. Patrick's Day in March, the Christmas market in December and many more.

A most pleasant welcome is reserved for me each time I go to the Town Hall of Viviers Les Montagnes 😀 It makes me want to go there even if there is no particular need 😉

Completely unusual speed bumps leaving the village. Our backs are beaten up even when passing it at 15 km/h. 0 respect for the legislation and motorists.
