  Your hosts will give you a warm welcome in their magnificent stone village house with blue shutters. Open all year round, Le Secret du Chat is a real invitation to relax with its large, carefully and tastefully furnished communal living room, measuring 40 m2. Choose a book from the library and settle down on the sofa to read in peace, unless you prefer to watch a film on the large flat screen in the warmth of the wood stove. The communal dining area allows you to sit inside or on the south-facing terrace, with a stunning view of the valley, if you wish. To relax, two guest rooms await you on the 2nd floor, real cosy nests carefully decorated in a contemporary and poetic spirit:
  - The 24m2 North Side room (plus its private bathroom) offers a decor inspired by Italian gardens with intense and deep colors,
  - The 48m2 South Side room has a refined floral decor composed of magnificent peacocks and delicate birds. An open bathroom with bathtub allows you to admire the valley, before enjoying the private sauna which ideally prepares you for a perfect night.
  With their view of nature on the South side or the oldest street in Cordes-sur-Ciel on the North side, they each have their own personality.

  Once you have tasted the joy of relaxing in this privileged setting, it is hard to leave. A magical break between heaven and earth in the heart of the village of Cordes A warm welcome, attention to detail at all times, an exquisite and refined breakfast table, then visits to the surrounding villages, bastides, churches or museums... and on return a moment of relaxation in the evening by the fire after a sauna! Finally, a night in a superb room, huge, and furnished and decorated with great taste. In summary: a symphony of beautiful nature, beautiful architecture, heritage and gastronomy, for the eyes, for the mouth and for the ears (ah, the silence...) without a single false note!

Travelers by bike discovering the gorges of Aveyron, we were well inspired to push on to Cordes Sur Ciel and stop in this magnificent place that is “Le secret du chat”. A warm welcome, rooms decorated and furnished with great taste, impeccable bedding and the warm, discreet and efficient attention of Françoise and her husband Pascal. We feel in them the desire to transmit their pleasure of welcoming. It is an understatement to say that the flow went well and that we really appreciated the delicate attentions of our hosts and the exchanges we had. The common room and the terrace are ideally exposed, the sophisticated and original decoration and the kitchen area, organized around a superb bar, very well appointed, really make us want to relax around a coffee or local beers that awaited us in the refrigerator. When we returned from the evening, Pascal had lit the wood stove, it was a pleasure to end the day like this. Special mention for the very copious breakfast with delicious organic bread and quality products: muesli, dried fruit, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheeses, homemade jams, ideal before a day of discovery and even more so for us who had to get back on our bikes (stored securely overnight) for our last stop. What a hidden gem in the most beautiful area of France! The accommodation was magnificent with every added touch possible. The designer rooms were spotlessly clean and full of luxury including sauna in the bathroom. It was breathtaking with amazing views from the bedroom and terrace. The charming hosts Francoise and Pascal made the stay even more memorable. Their kindness, their breakfasts with homemade everything was the cherry on the cake! Don't hesitate to book this place. Best ever. We will never forget. Thank you.
